Douglas Nelson
Resident Lighting Designer
|
Douglas Nelson has been resident lighting designer at the Peabody Institute and production manager for the Peabody Opera since 1985. A graduate of Yale University, he has designed for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Jeunesses Musicales in Evian-les Bains (France), the Washington Summer Opera Theatre Company, Opera Delaware, the Baltimore Choral Arts Society, the Young Victorian Theatre Company, and Theatre Hopkins.
He has designed lighting for every Peabody opera production since 1985. Thus, every photograph in the gallery on this site relects his work, including the examples shown below.
